My dad was a paratrooper. He served in World War II in places like Carentan, Bastogne, Burchtesgaden and Berlin. After the war he re-enlisted as a reserve to train new recruits coming in the tactics he had learned and employed in the war. He never forgot the war.

We are greatly saddened by today’s events in Boston. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the families of the victims of this tragedy. Though we didn’t know them, they’ll forever be in our memories. God bless you all.
