Images of the Big Oak Flat Rockfall

Due to a large rockfall that occurred at approximately 11:30 last evening, the Big Oak Flat Road (the continuation of Highway 120) is closed in Yosemite National Park. Breaking News: Big Oak Flat Road (Highway 120) Closed
Highway 120 the Big Oak Flat road into Yosemite Valley is closed until further notice due to a rockslide. We’ll post more details as information comes in. At this time visitors to the Valley must use Highway 140 and 41 from Oakhurst and Mariposa.

Glacier Point Road Closed in Hopes of Snow
In preparation for the large amounts of snow that will hopefully move into the area and start falling soon, the Glacier Point Road has also been closed.
