First of four images created November 4, 2007 of reflections on the Merced River. (Crossposted from The Little Red Tent)

The Merced River winds its way down from the high Sierra, flows over the Giant Staircase of Nevada and Vernal falls, converging with Tenaya Creek in Yosemite Valley.  It eventually leaves the Sierra, and is the primary source of water for Lake McLure.
