Traffic Delays Expected on 140 as Cleanup Continues

If you’re thinking about heading up to Yosemite next week expect minor delays of up to 30 minutes on Highway 140. Crews are scheduled to begin work next week on Highway 140 near the park entrance to stabilize a rock slide that was destabilized and dropped rocks and dirt into the roadway during last weeks massive storm. The work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 4, 2011 with up to 30 minute traffic delays beginning at sun-up and ending at sun-down The work is scheduled Monday through Friday in an effort to have it completed prior to the busy Easter Weekend.

Currently all roads into the park are open.
