Tioga Pass Opens Again

Loyd | October 22, 2009

Tioga Pass is open again this morning for the fourth time this year. After the initial opening in May the East-West thoroughfare through Yosemite’s high country has closed and opened once after the Big Meadow Fire closed the road and two more times after the recent snow storms.

The pass shouldn’t be closing anytime soon as the forecast through the end of the month is for mostly sunny skies with only a few clouds and a very low chance of rain or snow.
