Poppies Poppies Everywhere!
Cancel your plans for Sunday, skip out on church, grab your camera and head up Highway 140 because you’re not going to want to miss this. The photo you see has not been altered. The slopes of the Merced River canyon are covered in vibrant orange poppies. As the late Carl Sagan would say, “billions and billion and billions” of poppies. I have NEVER seen this many in my entire life. It’s really quite a show but don’t delay, I don’t think it’s going to last much longer.
