Morning Shot Aug 21 2009 – It’s Raining

In Morning Shot

No sorry, no rain in the near future for Yosemite. But Bog Iron Pines happened to be there during a thunderstorm and took this beautiful shot. How can you tell it’s raining? Look at the water. I love the large amounts of black and the darkness of the photo in the photo. Really makes you feel the power of the storm.

Today’s YosemiteCast:

Hot! Highs in the upper 90s. Overnight lows around 56F. Some light, scattered clouds but no rain in the foreseeable near future.

Sunrise – 6:18 a.m.
Sunset – 7:43 p.m.

Moon Phase – New.
