Bridalveil Fall. Photo by Jon Shiu

Jon Shiu sent in a couple of beautiful pictures for me to post but I lost them in the deluge of email until just now. The sad part is Jon was selling them at the Yosemite Renaissance Auction. What makes Jon’s photos fantastic isn’t just the image but the work he put into making the image. Here’s what Jon had to say:

I took these with my Diana-F toy camera, which is similar to the old Kodak Brownie camera. (Many years ago, you could send in a dollar and Bazooka bubble gum wrappers and get one of these). I printed them the old fashioned way, in the darkroom.

Thanks for sending your photos across Jon. Sorry it took so long to get them up.
