Good Bye Farley

Loyd | September 24, 2007

Often when you wander in the Yosemite stores you’ll see books of Farley cartoons by Phil Frank. A few weeks ago Phil announced his retirement from cartooning and subsequently passed away a short time later.

Phil’s books and his cartoons often centered around a bears life in the woods and in particular Yosemite. His comics were true works of genius that brought a smile to our faces and made us laugh in the toughest of times. He is a part of Yosemite that those of us he touched will never forget.

Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
