Yosemite is Open but Services are Limited
Yosemite National Park is open during the shutdown but visitor services are limited. Wawona Campground, Hodgdon Meadow Campground, the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and all park visitor centers are currently closed. Restroom facilities are very limited throughout the park. Glacier Point Road Reopens Today!
The Glacier Point Road will reopen today, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 8 am. The Glacier Point Road has been closed for several weeks as crews battling the Ferguson Fire were using the road. Bridalveil Creek Campground will remain closed for the season. All trails along Glacier Point Road and from Glacier Point are open.
