Storm in the Sierra
Just tried to go to Oakhurst via Rt 41, and opted not to complete the journey short of Chinquapin. Rain and high winds are making the road dangerous. NPR reported that I80 is closed west of Truckee due to snow. Back down in the valley itself, it’s pretty calm, with rain.
