The Dogwoods are probably one of my favorite things about Yosemite and something I don’t like to miss. Here’s a photo taken just the other day for all of you that can’t make it out to see the beautiful display they’re putting on right now. For those of you that can, hurry. A few of the trees we came across were already starting to dry out.

  • Great photo . .makes me wish I were there with my own camera.

  • I’ve never seen the Dogwoods in bloom, but I might actually get a chance to head up there Friday. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am so envious…….we should have been there this weekend and this sight was what I was looking forward to. I only booked rooms at YLF a year ago, and when I had to cancel recently, I sent a message to lots of friends offering the room with the header The Dogwoods Are Blooming but nobody seized the opportunity. Some lucky stranger called reservations no doubt and snapped up the space, so I sure hope they enjoy the dogwoods! Thanks for posting this and cheering me up!

  • Wonderful shot of this dogwood bloom. I wish that I could go to Yosemite this weekend, but it probably will not work out. I am jealous of those who are closer.
