Yosemite Deer are Tame!

Remember the other day I posted a video in which a dog was beaten by a deer with the hope people would get the message that deer in Yosemite are not tame and not there to be petted? Well watch this video. I just want to yell at the camera operator for coaxing the woman in the video to pet the deer. Personally I think the NPS should send the person who posted the video a ticket for not only putting the lady at risk but endangering the wildlife.

Please, please, PLEASE, do not feed or attempt to pet ANY animal in Yosemite. Squirrels, deer, bears, coyotes, bobcats or birds. They are all wild animals and are not put there for your enjoyment. Enjoy them from afar.

That whinney imbicile! His poor sister is stupid enough to listen. Not sure where dumb asses like this come from, but hopefully this is a lesson to all dumb asses: you’re not Steve Irwin , you’re not Jack Hana(sp?), stop harassing nature.

Not only is this dangerous it is not healthy. Think deer ticks and Lyme Disease.

Ooh yeah. That’s a very good point. I’d completely forgotten about deer ticks and Yosemite is in an area where Lyme Disease, Janta Virus and Bubonic Plague have all surfaced in the last few years.
