What’s to do this weekend (May 16 – May 18)

If you’re headed up to the park this weekend and you’re looking for something to do, check out one of these fun activities.

Friday – May 16
Night Prowl – 8:30PM – (1.5 hrs. – conditions permitting)

Come explore Yosemite at night! Tickets and information available at any tour & activity desk.

Saturday – May 17
Art Workshop – Yosemite Art Center – 10:00AM – 2:00PM (4Hours)
Experience Yosemite through art. Presented by the Yosemite Conservancy, join with celebrated artist in a participatory workshop where you will not only get to experience Yosemite but you’ll actually be painting as well. This week’s workshop is presented by by Geri Medway and titled ‘Painting Light in Watercolor’.

$10 per visitor. Art supplies are available for purchase.

The Yosemite Art Center is located in Yosemite Village next to the Village Store. Yosemite Art Center Hours: Daily 9AM – 4:30PM (closed for lunch). Call 209-372-1442 or visit yosemiteconservancy.org for more details.

Sunday – May 18
Yosemite Through the Eyes of a Buffalo Soldier, 1903 – Yosemite Theater – 7:00PM

Experience Yosemite through the eyes of a Buffalo Soldier, one of the first protectors of the park. Film and presentation are presented by Ranger Shelton Johnson. Tickets are available at the Valley Visitor Center Bookstore.
