Weekly Weather Rundown May 28th – June 1st

The holiday messed up my posting schedule. It’s a couple days late but here’s the Yosemite forecast for the week of May 28th through June 1st.

Temperatures are mild with lots of sunshine throughout the week. Expect highs in the low to mid 70s with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s. Saturday an unstable air mass is expected to make it’s way into California bringing with it cooler temperatures and the possibility of thunderstorms on Sunday. As always with these early summer storms, there may be hail and snow flurries at some elevations.

Forecast: Sunny. High 72F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday
High: 72°
Low: 51°
Forecast: Sunshine and some clouds. High 72F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday
High: 70°
Low: 48°
Forecast: Sunny with a few scattered clouds Highs in the low 70s and lows in the upper 40s.

Saturday
High: 63°
Low: 44°
Forecast: Sunny with a few scattered clouds. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

Sunday
High: 68°
Low: 46°
Forecast: Slight chance of a thunderstorm. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s.
