Tioga Pass has closed due to a winter storm that is making it’s way through Northern California brining rain and snow. There is no word yet whether this will be a temporary closure or if the gates will remain locked until next spring.
We’re hopeful this will be the first of many storms and we’ll get lots and lots of snow this year. We really need it.

Can’t believe how quickly the weather changes in the park. I was out there only 4 weeks ago and it was sunny and warm. I shot a short film called “The Park” which hopefully captures just some of the beauty of this amazing place. Would love to go again and shoot it in winter.
