Due to yesterday’s storm which caught everyone off guard with the amount of rain and snow it dropped, the Tioga and Glacier Point Roads have been closed – temporarily. There’s still some pockets of rain and snow this morning up along the Sierra crest but it doesn’t appear as widespread as yesterday. If you were planning on traversing the Sierra via the Tioga Road call (209) 372-0200 (then dial 1 then 1) for the latest road conditions.
