During the hot summer days traffic in the park and smog are a real problem. So grab one of the shuttle buses and let someone else drive you around the park.
The bus stops at or near all overnight accomodations, stores, and major vistas in Yosemite Valley. There is an El Capitan shuttle that stops at Camp 4, El Cap Picnic area, El Cap Crossover and The Four-Mile Trail head.

Buses are a great way to get around the Valley whether you’re going climbing, hiking, backpacking or just want to see the sites. They’re also great when for kids who get tired legs. So hop on!
