Weekly Weather Rundown May 28th – June 1st
Temperatures are mild with lots of sunshine throughout the week. Expect highs in the low to mid 70s with overnight lows in the 40s and 50s. Saturday an unstable air mass is expected to make it’s way into California bringing with it cooler temperatures and the possibility of thunderstorms on Sunday.

Hypothermic Climber Rescued from El Captian
Yosemite National Park Rangers and Search and Rescue Personnel were called in to assist a climber on El Capitan Monday after he was forced to spend the night on El Capitan in a snow storm.

4 More Hantavirus Cases Reported
The California Department of Public Health is reporting four additional cases of Hantavirus in visitors who stayed at the tent cabins in the Boystown area of Curry Village. Boystown has been closed indefinitely.

Man Drowns Swimming in Merced
A San Mateo man drowned after he became pinned under rocks while swimming in the Merced River.
