Photo of the Day: The Dichotomy of the Valley by Justin Kern

The dichotomy of the valley

Tonights Photo of the Day is an awesome photo Justin Kern made a couple weeks ago while in Yosemite. Waiting for the long exposure to finish Justin had some time to think about Tunnel View and photography and the way photographers interact with their environment. After he got home he put his thoughts down with his photo for everyone to read, and you should. It’s a great piece.

Nice work, Justin. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

What is that lighted area on the right side of the photo? The area where that tall tree is lit up? I should know the answer but I don’t. Thanks. Kathy
