    Loyd, thanks so much! Glad you liked that view too. I was just amazed at all the changes I saw in between the gray-wall stages in the few hours that many of us were there. Will add more later, but the Cathedral Rocks with a bit of snow left on them after I returned from going above (inadvertently) into sudden snow country with nothing but white trees in very late May, is one of my favorite views in my 3 visits there. (The subject title needs one typo correction).

    Appreciate finding your blog and the many views you’ve found of a stunning national park where staff often tell us that they feel they’re working in a sort of paradise. Am still exploring the blog with all its good info plus.
