Robin Black posted this beautiful photo of Mono Lake the other day and right away I emailed her asking if I could use it as Photo of the Day. With her reply she let me in on another little project she’s working on, a bulletin board for photographers. Californiaphotogs.com has everything from photo tips and locations to meetups and promoting your site.
I have to admit, after a recent, impromptu email list Edie started I’ve been thinking something similar would be nice. Thanks for passing that along and for letting me use your photo Robin!

That board looks like it has the beginnings of something quite good. Haven’t found any others like it.
Thanks for posting my photo, and for the kind words about the new discussion forum. I hope people will join up and give it a try–it’s brand spanking new, so it’ll take awhile for traffic to build and for things for get lively over there, but I’m hoping it’ll be a good community for photographers (and not just photographers from/about California).
