    The report I posted a few minutes ago was from yesterday morning. Here’s the one I found in my email from last night. They made significant progress on the fire yesterday, from 19% contained to 34%. Awesome!

    Not only do the dry conditions make it more hazardous for fires. It also means crews like the one on this helicopter are forced to put themselves at greater risk getting lower into the canyon looking for deep holes from which to pump water to drop on the fire.
