New Faces, New Voices

Over the last three years Yosemite Blog has grown and grown and continues to grow. To keep the content fresh and provide some new views I’ve invited 4 friends to come and lend their voices to the conversation.

I’d like to take a moment to welcome Dane Carlson, Edie Howe-Byrne, Tom Lambert and Rick Deutsch.

Dane Carlson (www.business-opportunities.biz)
Blogger and entrepreneur, Dane Carlson writes the wildly popular Business-Opportunities.biz weblog. Dane shares a special connection with Yosemite as his wife and family are from Mariposa just outside the park.

Edie Howe-Byrne (www.flickr.com/photos/ambitious_wench/)
Edie lives and works in Yosemite spending many hours exploring and taking beautiful photos of the park as only someone on the front lines can. You can check out her work over on Flickr.com where she is the administrator of the Yosemite Group.

Tom Lambert (www.yosemiteexplorer.com)
Tom is the author of YosemiteExplorer.com, a website dedicated to Yosemite with some great photos and tons of information on Hiking Trails, Rock Climbs and Ski Tours. Tom also teaches alpine skiing at Badger Pass during the winter months. Tom is an avid back-country skier, hiker. His wife Theresa teaches at the Yosemite Mountaineering School.

Rick Deutsch (www.hikehalfdome.com)
Rick is the author of Wilderness Press’ One Best Hike: Yosemite’s Half Dome and with over 20 successful summits he’s more than qualified to write the book. Rick is an avid hiker and outdoorsman who often lectures about Yosemite and what it takes to make it to the top.
