Morning Shot – Aug 12 2009

Today’s Morning Shot is a beautiful sunrise on Mono Lake by Brent Pearson.

Brent said: “Decided to go out to Mono Lake and try a sunrise. The day before I went to the main Tulfa area and got some reasonable dawn shots, but I really liked this view near Rte 395.

Dad piked out and had a sleep in, but I was rewarded by a lovely sunrise with lots of colour.

Just need to get a shotgun onto the damn ducks… they play havock with long exposures….. cloning tool worked overtime on this one.”

I bet your dad is sorry he slept in, Brent. Nice shot.

Hey if you like Brent’s photo then be sure to check out his blog. It’s got lots of beautiful photos and some good information for photographers.

Today’s Forecast:
Sunny and hot. High around 96F. Overnight low around 61F.

Got photos?
Did you happen to get any photos of the Perseid’s last night? Add them to the Yosemite Blog Group Pool on Flickr. It’s a great place to share your photos. You never know if you photo will be a Photo of the Day or the Morning Shot.

If you have non-Perseid photos you can add those too. 😉
