In the middle of winter most visitors to the park don’t visit the 3 groves of Giant Sequoia in the park so sometimes its good to get a reminder that Yosemite isn’t just cliffs and towering waterfalls. It’s so much more. No photo or video could ever compare to actually standing in the presence of one of these great giants but this video is pretty good. Enjoy!

Thank you. Having grown up in the shadow of the gentle giants it’s impossible for me to imagine what it must be like to see them for the first time. They are the largest and oldest living things on land. Truly majestic. Despite the familiarity, pictures such as these still bring me to my knees. Thank God for these amazing trees.
