Celebrate Veterans Day with Free Entry into Yosemite

If you’re looking for something to do this Veterans Day come to Yosemite and get in for FREE.

In honor of the men and women who served our country, all visitors to Yosemite will get in free today, November 11th. Waiving entrance fees to all public lands on Veteran’s Day is one way to show appreciation for the millions of men and women who fight to protect America’s great treasures, including Yosemite.

Did you know that the National Park Service also provides active duty military members and their dependents with an annual national park pass, an $80 value, at no charge? What? Really? YES!

Permanently disabled veterans can receive a free lifetime pass to all parks. The passes provide entrance to all national parks, national wildlife refuges, national forests, and other federal lands. Passes can be obtained at any national park that charges an entrance fee, including Yosemite.
