Tioga Road Opening – Sorta
The Tioga Road will be open to visitors up to all vehicles to Yosemite Creek and bicycles up to the May Lake junction. From there it’s closed except to administrative personnel. This is a good sign. It means in all likely-hood the road will open completely to visitors before Memorial Day. Hooray! Nice job guys…

Tioga Road Plowing Update for May 4: Start: 31.9 miles from Crane Flat End: 32.7 miles from Crane Flat (Spring Hill) Distance plowed: 0.8 miles Average snow depth: 3.5 feet The Glacier Point Road opened on May 5, 2009. The Mariposa Grove Road opened on April 17, 2009.
