A winter storm is moving into the area this weekend and expected to bring up to 4 inches of rain in the foothills with snow levels dropping down to 6500 feet by Tuesday. Although Yosemite Valley sits much lower than the expected snow level Tioga Pass and the Glacier Point Road may be impacted. Visitors should expect cold, inclement weather and carry snow chains as snowy and icy conditions may exist on park roads. Chains may become mandatory at any time and you may be required to stop and put them on.
