Mandatory evacuations are currently in place for the Wawona area, the area east of Highway 41 on Forest Dr. and Chilnualna Falls Rd. Trails in the area are also closed due to fire.
Smokey conditions exist within the park and may be problematic to those with preexisting respiratory conditions and asthma.
