If you’re headed into Yosemite from Highway 99 via Highway 41 in Fresno you’re going to find yourself in a sticky situation next Monday. CalTrans is repaving 41 in Fresno and will have the road closed. Don’t fret though. There is a detour. You’ll just have to be alert and watch for the signs.
Visalia Times-Delta: “Drivers planning to take Highway 41 to get to parts of Fresno, Yosemite National Park and other destinations Tuesday will have to find a different route on Tuesday.
That’s because the lanes connecting southbound Highway 99 to 41 will be closed for much of the day while that stretch of freeway is repaved. The California Department of Transportation reports that the closure will last from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Drivers can take Highway 180 or Jensen Avenue off 99 to connect with the 41. “
