Tioga Pass Closed – Again!

Phil (outdoorPDK) caught this ominous looking scene back in 2007 on the old USCD webcam..

More rain and snow have come to the Sierra closing all the passes south of Highway 88 including Tioga Pass. The rain and snow are gone for tonight with clear skies in the forecast for the next few days but it’s a chilly 34 degrees outside. Daytime highs are expected to be in the low to mid 60’s over the next few days with overnight lows in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.

No word on how much snow Tioga got or if/when it’s going to be plowed. I’ll keep my ears open.
