Highway 140 Opening Tomorrow – Use Caution
Highway 140 will be open to all traffic starting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 30, at 6 am for eastbound traffic and 6:45 am for westbound traffic. Use extra caution–fire crews and vehicles may be present on the road.

Highway 140 Closed Due to Fire
Highway 140 is closed west of El Portal due to a fire burning outside of Yosemite National Park. Currently there is no access to Yosemite Valley from Mariposa via Highway 140.
