Tenaya Lake is probably one of my more favorite spots to photograph in the park. In fact, if you look closely at my profile pic just about anywhere, you’ll notice I’m at Tenaya Lake taking photos in the pic. Today’s Photo of the Day comes to us from Joseph Trinh via Flickr and it’s an awesome shot of sunset over Tenaya Lake.
The photo is very beautiful but at the same time, makes me a little sad. You see, where Joseph was standing to take the photo is normally under water but it’s been a dry couple of years and it’s starting to show on the lakes and rivers in the region.
But, it’s already turned cold at night which makes me hopefull for an early fall and long, wet winter that will replenish the lakes.
Great shot, Joseph. Thanks for sharing, Joseph.
If you like Joseph’s photo then please check out his photostream on Flickr. It’s loaded with beautiful stuff. I promise you won’t go away disappointed.
