Here’s a fun video looking out the back window of
rental car as he drove from SFO (San Francisco International Airport) to his hotel in Mariposa. The video condenses the entire drive into a quick 8 minutes. Since I’ve driven this route so many times it was fun to watch and identify the places along the way. SFO -> 101 south -> 92 east -> 880 north -> 238 east -> 580 east -> 120 east (Tracy) -> 99 south (Manteca) -> 140 east (Merced) -> Mariposa and finally ending in Cedar Lodge just outside the gate. There’s a short stop in there for lunch and a bathroom break around Pleasanton.
Pretty cool and it gives you a good idea what the road to Yosemite is like. Here’s the whole thing on Google Maps.
