Tioga Pass Opens Again
Tioga Pass is open again this morning for the fourth time this year. After the initial opening in May the East-West thoroughfare through Yosemite’s high country has closed and opened once after the Big Meadow Fire closed the road and two more times after the recent snow storms. I happened to check the Tioga Pass webcam tonight and noticed it’d captured a very nice rainbow during an evening downpour. The timestamp on the photo is a little after 7 p.m. tonight. Awesome photo. I’m glad they have the webcams up and allow everyone to see them.

Tioga Pass Closed Due to Snow
Tioga Pass closed today due to snow and ice. All other park roads are open at this time but with more rain and snow expected this weekend expect more closures and possibly the requirement of chains.
