Rock Fall in Yosemite (video)
Still waiting to see if anyone happened to grab their video camera and capture the rockfall behind the Ahwahnee but here’s a video from the 2008 rockfall that decimated part of Curry Village as seen from a climbers perspective almost directly across from the release point.

Rainy Day in Yosemite
Rare August rain in Yosemite. Captured from the live webcam in Ahwahnee Meadow. I really do think we’re going to see an early Autumn this year in the park. Already the nights have been cool enough some trees are starting to show yellowing.
