Schooled at Clark Range View

For a short time yesterday, I thought this would be a photo of two beautiful women on skis. Instead, it’s two porta-cans in a snowbank. Sometimes life is like that.

I went to the Clark Range View trail, near Crane Flat, to see if there was any snow up there. It was a great day, warm an’ sunny, and then these two women show up and stop to talk, obviously impressed by my alpha male charisma and general hotness. They were willing and eager to be photographed, until I said that I’d put the photo on Yosemite Blog. Out of nowhere, they freaked out — yelling, screaming, hitting me with their ski poles. The tall one pushed me over into the snow, and they skied away. I think I said “What?! What the? Why?”

The rest of the day was pretty boring — nice scenery, deep snow, blah, blah, blah.
