High temperatures and stiff up canyon winds have pushed the Railroad Fire to over 1200 acres. Sugar Pine, Sugar Pine Camp and Fish Camp remain under an evacuation order with Highway 41 closed between Cedar Valley Drive and the South entrance of Yosemite National Park.
The fire continues to threaten over 100 structures in the area. Already 7 have been destroyed.

Visitors with lodging reservations in the area are being urged to call first and confirm before they travel.
Travelers wishing to access Yosemite National Park from Fresno/Madera or Oakhurst should take Highway 49 from Oakhurst to Mariposa and then Highway 140 into Yosemite National Park.
