Photo of the Day: In the Land of Giants by Okkamocha

I’m always on the lookout for new photos. I mean cmon, I’ve been writing this blog for years now and I’ve seen a gazillion photos of Yosemite. I guess that’s why I instantly liked this one from Okkamocha. Here’s the caption Arun included with his photo on Flickr:

Yosemite was in full flow when we experienced it. The abundant snowmelt provided a roaring soundtrack to our entire visit. Moving along the valley floor, staring in awe at the granite behemoths looming large above us was a fantastic experience. Sometimes it felt like we were the tiny ones moving around in their backyard while they kept watch silently.

I caught these folks observing Half Dome close to Glacier Point. Totally worth the 1 hour drive from the valley.

Great shot.
