I’m always trying to find new and interesting photos of Yosemite for Photo of the Day and Flickr never seems to let me down. Today’s Photo of the Day is a really cool sunrise shot of Bloody Canyon. Bloody Canyon was for years the only way into Yosemite from the Mono Lake area to the east and both Joseph LeConte and John Muir mention it in their books.

Awesome shot. Very nicely done.
