Photo of the Day: Black oaks, autumn, El Capitan Meadow, Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park, California 1984 by William Neill

While looking in the Yosemite Blog Group Pool on Flickr I came across this photo and it made my mouth drop open. William Neill, one of my all time favorite photographers (I even have one of his prints hanging on my wall) had added his work to the group pool. In case you’re not familiar with William’s work, William has been taking pictures of Yosemite for years and is frequently featured at the Ansel Adams Gallery. Needless to say I was flattered.

So, without further ado, here it is in all it’s glory.

If you’d like to see more of William’s work you can find him at: the Ansel Adams Gallery, WilliamNeill.com, or his blog.

And if you’re curious which one of his shots I purchased it’s this one: http://www.anseladams.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1417

Thanks again, William.
