Fall Prescribed Burns Starting September 16th
The National Park Service will start the fall season of prescribed burns in Yosemite Valley and surrounding areas to remove fuels that can lead to much more destructive fires. The burns are slated to begin on September 16th weather permitting. Smoke and particulate matter from the fires may cause eye and throat irritation.

5th Annual Yosemite Facelift September 24th – 28th
As the summer comes to a close the Yosemite Climbing Association will be hosting the 5th Annual Facelift. The five day, volunteer clean-up will take place September 24th – 28th starting daily at 8am with a daily closing time at 5pm.
