Local Fisherman Killed After Fall Along Merced

Press Enterprise: Yosemite National Park official say a 62-year-old Mariposa County man is dead after falling on rocky terrain.

Park officials say the body of Keith Robinson of Midpines was found Tuesday near Windy Point, a paved pull-out area alongside Highway 140 near the Arch Rock Entrance to the park.

After failing to return home Monday evening from a fishing trip, he was reported missing Tuesday morning.

Rangers pronounced him dead on the scene from injuries suffered from a fall.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the Robinson family.
