Kris sent me this update from the park this weekend where he had his wedding up at Glacier Point.
Kris: Friday and Saturday were both busy days in the park, but the lines at the South entrance never exceeded 10-15 minutes at what would seem to be peak hours (11-1). The gate staff were doing a great job expediting everyone through. Mosquitoes were ridiculous down at Sentinel Beach picnic area due to all of the water/flooding.
It was 70 degrees with a hot sun at Glacier Point on Saturday at 4:00PM for my wedding. Everything was wonderful.
I apologized to my friends and family for not being able to find a scenic spot for our wedding- best I could do on short notice. <big grin>
Congrats, Kris! Hope you two have a beautiful life together. You picked a great place to start.
You can check out a photo here.

Kris, you’re a lucky man, what a wonderful place to get married although I thought you might have removed some of the “distracting” background in Photoshop. I’d have been tempted to clone out that waterfall and big lump of rock or perhaps gone the whole hog and swapped the background for, say, a church!!!!!
Only joking, best wishes for a long and happy marriage, you couldn’t have started it in any better way. Beats the heck out of an Elvis impersonator in Vegas.
