There’s a great article over at the Fresno Bee (free with registration) about making your trip to Yosemite a little more fulfilling by following some pretty simple suggestions.
Fresno Bee: “The most important thing about any day trip to Yosemite is getting there early. There’s nothing worse than paying your $20 entrance fee and finding no parking spaces.
To avoid this fate, time your arrival for no later than 9 a.m. on weekends. Instead of driving from place to place, park your car in the day use lot near Curry Village and make use of the park’s free shuttle system. Buses run every 10 minutes, so you won’t have long to wait.”
