Have Some Fun at the Yosemite SpringFest Carnival this Saturday

Got plans Saturday? Why not head up to Badger Pass to celebrate another successful season and have some fun at the annual SpringFest Carnival.

This fun filled extravaganza takes place from 9AM to 4PM Saturday March 28th at Badger Pass Ski Area where there will be music, food, costumes and crazy contests!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

9:00 A.M. – Race Registration; Sign up in the Day Lodge next to the Activities Desk

10:00 A.M. – Obstacle Course for children 13 and under; Meet at Ski School meeting area

11:00 A.M. – Free-Style Competition for skiers & snowboarders over 13 years old; meet @ Lower Red Fox Run

11:00 A.M. – Slalom Race for children 13 and under. Meet at Bruin Run

12:00 P.M – 2:30 P.M. -Live music with the “Adam Burns Band”

12:00 P.M. – Costume Contest on the Day Lodge Main Deck

12:30 P.M. – Dummy Judging: visitors and employees can build their own dummy and display it in front of the Day Lodge. Dummies must be at least 3’ tall and less than 100 lbs., non-breathing, non-living, no pets, no kids. Gravity propelled only.

1:00 P.M. – Dual Slalom Race for skiers & snowboarders over 13 years old; Meet at the top of Badger Run

2:45 P.M. – Pond Skimming – must be over 13 years old (snow conditions and weather permitting)

4:00 P.M. – World Cup Dummy Race; Watch the decorated dummies careen down the Red Fox Run and root for your favorite

So grab your skis or your snowboard and head up. This may be your last time to get some skiing in before that nice, warm sun melts all the snow away.
