Looks like the repairs to the Half Dome trail are almost completed and the trail will be opening normally through October 10th when the cables will be taken down for the season.
“The work to repair the Sub Dome segment of the Half Dome Trail will be completed at 4 pm on Thursday, September 29, 2005. The Half Dome trail will be open without restriction through Monday October 10, 2005. On Tuesday October 11 the cables are scheduled to be taken down for the winter, weather permitting. ” (NPS)
