Back in June, I brought my Sony video camera on the Half Dome hike. I got about an hour of good footage. The highlight was the chance capture of a marriage proposal of hikers Kevin to Ryanna while on the visor. I filmed the 3-minute encounter and later met them and gave them a copy of the DVD. Turns out they only lived 2 miles from my San Jose estate. Well, they are getting married Jan 6 in Chico. They invited me to the wedding and they plan to show the video at the reception. How cool is that? So you see, good things DO happen on Half Dome.
