Go For a Ride and See Yosemite from the Saddle

Most people have heard of the mule trips in the Grand Canyon but did you know you can go on mule rides in Yosemite and what a great way to see the park!

Yosemitepark.com: There may be no better way to experience the vast majesty of Yosemite’s backcountry than by mule. When you’re ready to saddle up, there are lots of options. Two-hour, four-hour and all-day rides are available at the stables in Yosemite Valley, Wawona and Tuolumne Meadows.

Custom, guided multi-day saddle and pack trips are also available. Please give at least two weeks notice by calling the stable of your choice. For these special trips, remember that you will need to get a wilderness permit from the National Park Service.

Please arrive at the stable at least one hour prior to your ride. Children must be at least 7 years old and 44″ tall. Maximum weight is 225 lbs.

Prices range from $53 to $96 and reservations are STRONGLY encouraged as trips fill up fast.
